There are so many personal lubricants on today’s market that even I get confused when trying to find a good one sometimes. It’s not everyday you go out in search for a lube, then to make matters worse it seems like brands are always coming up with something new. In an effort to appease all tastes, skin types and intentions, the market has become flooded with options that end up being eerily similar to another product. It takes an expert eye to tell them apart, or at least the opinion of a well-trained pervert who knows a good lube when they see it. When shopping for a new oil-based lubricant, there’s usually only one thing on my mind: Get in and get out with least amount of friction possible. Anything outside of that is a bonus.
So, when I was researching organic lubes that contain oil-based ingredients I started coming across some pretty interesting stuff. Oil-based lubes are a rarity because of the limitations they generally pose on the person(s) using them. However, natural and/or plant-based varieties not only go further in the bedroom but they’re also excellent for the skin. I selected the Woo Play More brand’s Coconut Love Oil because it looked like a good time and it had some pretty amazing ingredients in it. The product wasn’t exactly cheap, but I knew that the price tag would tell me everything I needed to know once I popped the top. So, was I happy to hand over my money or did I end up feeling ripped off? Well, let’s make sure you know which lube I’m talking about first.
What Is Woo More Play Coconut Love Oil?
The Woo More Play brand isn’t as well-known as some of the others, but that doesn’t mean they’re not capable to creating some pretty spectacular products. In fact, their Coconut Love Oil is one of the top-selling lubes in the industry right now and I can definitely see why. Made to be extremely gentle and nourishing to the average person’s skin, this stuff is like most oil-based lubes in that it pulls triple duty as a personal lubricant, a moisturizer, and a massage oil. The difference is the fact that it’s also elegantly scented and made to taste good as well. So while it’s not marketed as a flavored product, it’s ideal for all kinds of sex acts from vaginal and anal play to sex toy exploration and oral. Best of all, it’s also formulated for a woman’s body, meaning it’s pH balanced to keep her skin looking, smelling and feeling like a million bucks.
The Main Features
According tot he manufacturer, this stuff is jam-packed full of fun features that make it one of the top-selling oil-based lubes this side of the Mississippi. First of all, it’s made out of all-natural, organic ingredients that have been expertly combined to deliver a sweet and smooth layer of protection for the skin. The blend contains things like coconut oil, beeswax, vanilla essential oil, and stevia natural sweeteners too. And since it uses no harmful chemicals or synthetics, it’s safe to use for all skin types and is even ideal for people who have easily disrupted pH balances. It’s free of both preservatives and additives, plus it has no dyes, no calories, and no gluten either.
Furthermore, Woo More Play is a brand that’s steadfast about being eco-friendly about their products, meaning that their Coconut Love Oil is completely cruelty free and never tested on animals. Having been expertly formulated to provide the most appealing aroma, taste and consistency, this bottle of smooth and luxurious lube is ideal for all sexual activities, including vaginal, anal or oral stimulation and even masturbation with sex toys. Also, if you’re not completely satisfied by the experience, the maker of this product will return your money, no questions asked.
What Comes in the Box?
Lubes are usually one-off products with nothing much inside the box with the bottle, and the Woo More Play Coconut Love Oil is no exception except maybe for the fact that the container can be used later for storage. Don’t get your hopes up about any special discounts on affiliated products either because the brand isn’t linked up with any device manufacturers (yet), plus they don’t host a lot of sales themselves, even on the official brand website. Either way, you get a lot of bang for your buck in terms of quality and quantity, with about 3.3 fluid ounces of sweet, succulent lube within each tube.
The Experience
Let’s be honest here: It can be hard to tell the difference between lubes when you don’t use them back-to-back like me, a freak. Usually, the best way to tell whether something is worthwhile or not is by simple comparison with similar products. That’s why I use the same basic criteria when judging any new lubricant – oil-based or otherwise. So, when I got my grubby little hands on Woo’s CLO, it obviously got no special treatment. Here is how my experience went down:
- The Container
The tub is really nothing fancy, but I guess that’s a good thing if you plan to store it on your nightstand or sink basin. It’s a relatively compact container – thin, easy to store, and featuring a secure flip-top lid that snaps closed so it doesn’t leak liquid onto your belongings. The label is very unisex in its design for added discretion, but the manufacturer slaps the words “love oil” and “personal lubricant” on the front so it sort of balances itself out. The box doubles as storage too, but you probably wont need it because the tube is made out of thick, recycled plastic.
- The Ingredients
All of the ingredients are certified organic and derived from plant-based sources. That was one of the biggest selling points for me and my partner. It’s truly an eco-friendly product that just so happens to be awesome for vaginal pH levels. The contents moisturized my lady bits to the extent that I wondered whether I should start applying it to my skin regularly. After a while it soaks in to leave behind a rejuvenated complexion, but because it’s oil-based I did have to manually wash it off before it absorbed because my time was limited.
- The Sensations
The overall experience was like taking a journey through my senses. WPM’s lube combines subtle hints of aroma and flavor with silky-smooth texturing and consistency. It glides on smooth, takes very little to cover a large area, and lasts for quite a while before being absorbed into the body. So essentially, it works like a water-based lube but performs like a classic oil. It quenched the thirst of my parched privates and actually served me best as a moisturizer instead of a lube.
- The Scent
I liked how there was no weird chemical smell to get over before I could enjoy the actual scent of the product. Once I cracked open the top, I immediately smelled coconuts and a faint hint of tropical flowers. It’s a very appealing aroma, especially for the average woman’s body chemistry. Personally, it was a Godsend during the sex I hide right after I shaved in the shower. Plus, it cut back on the stench and odors of sweaty sex sessions by providing a more pleasant smell in the room.
The Ups and Downs
You’ve probably heard this said before, but there is no such thing as perfection outside of God almighty. That means no sex toy, accessory or lubrication can be pleasing to every person on the planet. At some point, you’ve got to learn how to take the good with the bad. Human beings are so diverse that flawlessness is unachievable, leaving many consumers unsure of which product to choose because they’re looking for something ideal to everybody. The key is to find something that works great for you and/or your partner, not everyone else. With that said, here are all the things I think you need to consider about Woo Play More Coconut Love Oil before spending any money on it:

The Takeaway
Quite honestly, I think it’s one of the best oil-based lubes that money can buy. It has everything you’d want out of a personal lubricant – a smooth consistency, an appealing aroma, a great taste and a multitude of uses. So, while it may be one of the more expensive lubricants on the market, it certainly pulls its own weight in the versatility department. Super user-friendly are the bottle and nozzle too, with an ergonomic design that’s easy to use and even easier to store. Overall, it’s the ideal product for women who want to experiment with oils and sensations, although I could see why a man would want to use it as well.
